Default Progress was had on M62 blower project *PIX*

Well, some information, some updates, some kind of bummer news (perhaps to some).

Starting with the 'bad', Ctruss here on the boards has decided to go turbo and leave the M62 project. That's more than fine and I have even thought about it as well, however, I'm so close to completion that I will see it through.

This leads me to believe I probably will NOT offer kits of this setup. He had access to fab facilities I do not. If someone TRUELY wanted a kit made, it would be on a case by case basis and would be much more polished than what I am doing here.

I finished drilling and tapping the holes in the plate and have the blower bolted to it as well as having it bolted to the alternator bracket and alternator. This thing is ROCK solid. I can move the whole car with it and it doesn't budge.

I'm going to put in another few hours today. Once I'm finished, all I will really need to do is to get the longer belt and route the piping. I have a supercharger gasket on order that comes in tuesday and is easily installed.

In the pics you will see there is no driver side bracket. I'm making one but really, this thing doesn't even need it. Im going to drive around this week with it all assembled to test for warpage, make sure nothing hits..etc. Anyway.. on with the pics.. more updates to come.

The wife took the xB to an out of state wedding so I used her xA to continue fabbing. Once my intake comes in and my bypass valve the final install can take place and boost can be had!

Things left:

Attach intake to blower
Install bypass valve
Install everything into the xB

Not far off
