I just found the time to start painting my tails. I just put the first layer of candy red on it.

They should be all done up by tonight or tomorrow morning.

goodjob! looks 100% like mine.. i did mine like about 4 months ago..
wanted that japanese 'HILTOP' look... good choice in paint..
i went with something non permanent like clear red vinyl

..... I will be putting them on Monday when i can pick up the tools from my uncle..... now the TYC's will be for back-up....

Those are very nice tails!!
How did you get the glossy look? I used candy apple red transparent paint on tails before followed with clear coats and they were pretty damn dull.

If I paint mine, then only thing that will be clear is the reverse light.

Plese post a "How-To" on this. IMO the stock clear/red lights scream RICE!!!!! I just sold my Eg hatch w/ GSR so I know all about rice, lol.
