3M scratch remover and maybe http://www.paintscratch.com./ Maybe this will help, but I don't know.

My Accord awhile back had a door ding. I had a professional "massage" the ding out from the inside panel. It was worth the $70.

i have been through this many times. first get a scratch remover like scratch x and then take it to the dealer and ask their pdr guy to take a look at it. you should be able to get it done for less then 100 if its just one ding

What soros said, or use Meguiar's Scratch-x. Be prepared to spend about an hour buffing the scratch out by hand.

Just be paitent, make sure the car is clean, and keep applying small amounts of Scratch-x to the spot, and buff it out.

For the dent, go pick up an automotive Dent Puller at your local Pep Boys or Autozone, or whatever. Looks like a large suction cup with a handle on it.

For that, spray some detailing lubricant (like Quik Detailer) then use the suction cup to pull the dent out. It will take a while, but the dent will come out.

Has anyone posted a Detailing/Repair how-to? It's about time we had one up.

BTW, I know how you feel. I have zero body damage on my tC, and it's two years old. The only paint blemishes I have are rock chips on the front bumper, and I keep after them with Scratch-x and touch-up paint so they aren't noticable.

Of course, my car looks like that because I spend WAY too much time detailing it, and park far out in parking lots. It's a good way to get some extra exercise in.

it's happened to me twice. the first was $150.00 and the second was $85.00. no evidence they were ever there once they were massaged out. here's a thread:

i always park away from everyone because of the expansive size of the unprotected side of the car and how obvious a ding is on this thing. some people aren't "stupid" when a ding occurs. both times i was dinged i had parked as far away as i could and when i came back to my car the lot was full and i was dinged. (first one i arrived early to an empty amusement park parking lot and parked all way in the back even though it was empty up front. the second time i had to park in a three story parking garage for an event and when i got there i purposely went up to the empty top level and parked on an end space. the freakin' lot was full when i came back to my car to find another ding.)

i think honestly i get dinged because i watch so effin' closely to not get dinged that god has a sense of humor about it. i roam parking lots looking for spaces where no one can park on either side of my car.

If I'm somewhere where I know someone will park next to me, I just take up two spaces.

see there is a fine line there....particularly if you park on an angle....sometimes if one does that, one comes back to find they were keyed instead of dinged
