Default Sunroof wont close? Reset?

Any one know how to reset the sunroof? I have seen how to before but i just cant find the link. My roof doesnt close all the way. It closes about 3/4 and then it goes back open when i try to close it. Has anyone else experienced this?

LOL this sh*t happens to me too but the only solution that I came up with is to just keep taping the button all the way, it will close first time. Works for me anyways.

hold the close button for 2 seconds then hold the open button for 2 seconds
repeat if uncessful...but just keep holding it down for a couple seconds in each direction until it catches

this is not how to reset your sun roof, but this is how i close it when it bounces back:

take one hand and hold the wind deflector down and take your other hand and push close. dont worry, you will have enough room to remove your hand.

This just started about a month ago for me. I just havent made it to the dealer yet. It doesnt close because the safety mechanism thinks something is stuck in the path of the sunroof. I think it might need some silicone grease in the tracks. I tap the button several times to get it to close.

yeah what death said. They sunroof has a pressure sensor on the motor and if there is too much tension it opens again. This is a safey measure so you don't get your hands, head, or whatever stuck. If you put some lube on the top of the rails for your deflector your sunroof will go right down.
