I need to know if it's legal to change the rear license plate light bulbs to white or blue in GA? I'm not sure if the law regarding this is the same in other states or not though but any opinion and advice is welcome!

 

I'm 95% sure white isn't an issue at all... I'd go that direction... but blue, even not knowing GA law... I'd bet 99% that it's illegal, but still up to the cop to choose to harass you about it... I'd just buy superwhite LEDs and live without paranoia about the heat.

all i know is blue PARKING LIGHT and blue underbody light is ILLEGAL here in GA because i was pulled over b/c of them... but yea, white is actually more suited for me anyway. Just want to haer some advice that's all.

White is fine...I think they're pretty much white when they're stock, aren't they?
In Colorado, (and most states I think) any red or blue lights facing forward is illegal...I don't think I've heard of rear facing light problems though...

 

Check your local state highway patrol they will know the best and not give you any false info
