I ordered a white xA, 5 spd with side bags. Should be here in a couple of weeks. It's gonna be hard transitioning from a lifted truck on 33's but I'm looking forward to it. I just ordered the stereo components too, can't wait to get that hooked up.

 

I went from a lifted truck on 32's to my xA, and outside of the ability to go anywhere and do anything, I don't think I'll ever look back.

 

I just went from an 2000 Passat to an XA, and lovin it. Lots of problems with the Passat electrical, after having 5 Toyotas, I just had enough. Went back to Toyota because our local dealer treats us like GOLD. By the way, I got an ALBINO WHITE one with 5 spd. the only 5 spd. available in this area.

 

Your going to love this car...It's a blast to drive.

 

Ya know, VW has ALWAYS had electical problems. I had a 1983 Rabbit GTI that was the bomb, you could hairpin at 45. I had Pirellis on it, man I loved that car... but it had aluminum wiring! And the black boxes kept blowing all over the place. 25 years later and they still wouldn't know how to swap out a light switch.
