Default FLINT MICA TC ON 19X8 AXIS SEVEN MODS AND S-TECHS *PICS*

I just put my wheels on last week. Im on S-tech springs and they are 19x8 Axis Seven Mods with a 2 inch lip in front and a 3 1/4 inch maxis lip in the rear. The tires are 215/35/19 Nitto Neogens stretched. If i went with 225/35/19 they would have rubbed the strut tower. The only rubbing issues i have are hitting dips on the highway and its not bad at all. I didnt have to roll my fenders either. Im installing drilled and slotted rotors on wed or thurs. Ill post some pics of those.

PS- Do not buy from www.wheelsnext.com. It took me 3 weeks to get my wheels and when they came only one of them was balanced and one had a chip in the edge of the lip. Everytime i called to get a tracking number they gave me a different excuse. "The tires are on backorder" or "We put the wrong size tire on and have to re-mount them". Just a heads up. I would go with Discount tire if youre going to buy wheels online. www.tires.com. Ive heard nothing but good things about them. The only reason i didnt buy from them is that they dont carry Axis wheels.

Here you go:

Tein S-tech and 19' x 8.5 wheels...... really?
I would of thought that setup would look too low. Kinda like NCBIGGs SSM Tc.

BTW Looks good

Mine are 19x8. I was told that they would rub in tight u-turns but it hasnt happened yet. Only on dips at high speeds and its just a slight scuffing on the plastic wheel wells.

How close is the inner rim to the struts? Have you knock off some wheel weights from tight clearances in that area?

I havent looked at the clearance between the strut and wheel but i know if i had 225s it would rub the strut. Knock off some wheel weights? My wheel weights are stick ons, not the ones that clip onto the lip of the wheel if thats what ur asking

Yeah theres 3 public parking garages in that small area and they all have great views from the top. Good place for a shoot.
