Hello. Recently my tranny has been growling at about 2000 rpm in 1, 2, and 3 gears. Sounds like Chewbacca for a second or two. No loss in performance but still...

Anywhere I should look before taking it in for warranty?

sounds like the bearing are bad

 

both our xA and xB make a noise like this, sounds like a diesel truck chuggin... *shrug*

 

I waited a month to be sure I got my car right off the truck. Didn't want anyone else to touch my transmission. Had a phobia of some stick-learner on a demo drive, chipping a tooth, and the chip running through the bearings. At 5000 miles it shifts smoothly and makes no sounds while running in any gear.
