Default Tradin tC for xB.....

Hey all,

My girl is thinking about trading in her tC for the xB. What do you guys think? Have any of you done the same? would you?

Also, you xB guys... how do you like/love it? Is it worth getting?

I've had a baby after I purchased my tC and I've been toying with the idea myself. I test drove one and I decided I'll deal with it because I missed the horse power so much.

However if that's okay with her, then why not. xBs are pretty unique.

I had an xB and went to a tC. I loved the xB because of it's image and neat features and utility, but I love my tC and wouldn't go back! Horsepower! Keep It!

Well, I've got a tC and I love it more than any car I've had in the past... and believe me, I've had a few. =o) But were in the process of getting married, and shes thinking about trading HER tC because of the possibility of kids in the future. I wouldnt give up my tC.. NO WAY! =o) But its a space thing. Is the horse power that bad?

Well in that case I say go for it. The box is a really fun to drive and look at and it will get you around just fine, it's just not wicked fast . I used it for work and it served me very well. I miss the 30+ mpg!

Heck, if gas keeps going up, I'll be trying to trade my tC for an Aygo diesel... if they ever bring them here to the states.

well, if youre planning to have a child, then HP shouldnt be a big priority. Safety and space would top the list IMO.

Since were just getting married, and not planning to have kids for at LEAST 2 years, and she owes more than the cars worth, (Previously up-side-down on trade) we've decided to hold off on the trade. Figure shed use it for awhile more then when we need to swap em. Thanks for your input though. She appreciates it.

if you can hold off, wait for the scion xd. i went to a scion focus group recently and we saw the upcoming model. it's off the hook. new xb model was also shown. so wait if you can, it's worthwhile.
