Default This is hilarious!

Ok, I'm sitting at a light waiting for it to change and to my left across the street, there's a 96 Civic (or just about that year). So, the light changes and the passenger in the car, the loser riding shotgun in his friend's car, gives me a thumb down to my car. It's funny b/c his friend's car was lowered and had some decent rims on it....all except for 1 which was a bright yellow donut!!....hahahahaha

So, he gave me a thumbs down for being in my own car and one that has no problem with it and would destroy his friend's car in a run.

Well, b/c I've seen his friend's engine since he lives down the street from me, he only has an intake, cat-back exhaust, and Hot Wires, I can just laugh at his loser friend.

Just something for us tC owners to appreciate. Civics have been over rated for so long. The only Civic that is actually worth some looking at is the '06 Civic Si, 89 Si with the B16 swap and a mid 90s GSR swap Civic. The rest that run at the track with less than 1000$ invested in their car are not even worth a look at.

Let's all just laugh for a second..............

Civic with D-series motor is 'overrated' in terms of performance.... but not overrated when it comes to how much aftermarket support it has or how it easy it is to mod to make them fast, or how Honda was 1 of the few to get 100BHP/L NA. I may be defending Civic's............. just not a good amount of their young drivers.

Hahahahaha.................it's not worth the gas to burn people like that. I would rather save my runs for the track. It's fun to ____ with them but this guy was in the opposite lane coming from my left. It was a 4 way intersection and I was going north and he was going east. I would have played a bit just to make his friend realize his buddies car is slow. hahahahaha..................oh well

"CuRiOuSfIsH" does have a point...............the cars may be good and fun to tune, but it's the young drivers who over shoot their expectations for those cars by a lot. It's fun to watch their disappointed faces as I pass them and see them punching the steering wheel

they just see all the magazines with 600whp civics....done very nicely...and think just 5k will do that...HA....thats why I love Modified Mag...they give both super nice cars and cars that people have worked on for years...and are very nice

kids just want RAW POWER>...which isnt always the safest thing/best thing, more they have, more cocky they are...

I would <3 to be able to daily drive 230-250whp wtq, and be able to boost up some nights to 300whp at most.
Supercharged of course...got some time/waiting/money to do It will happen though

civic = economical reliable small car....and thats all it should mean

i guess people choose to mess them up because the parts are very easy and cheap to get.

i laugh when i see a riced out civic on the road next to a grandma in a stock civic...probably about the same HP

actually, I was a Civic owner myself..... of course the car was good, saved gas, relatively safe, and got me where I needed to go..... and thats it. Young uneducated Civic owners do tend to be a bulk of the problem. *note uneducated* No offense but Civic owners arent the only cars/owners contributing to this.... Many times I have been intentionally cut off and given 'the look' from young xB and tC drivers..... and Altima's and Corolla's and E46 and Jetta and the occasional Maxima's....... list goes on.... I think you guys get the point...................

Yeah, overall, you can be driving a Mercedes SLR and still be an uneducated a** when it comes to driving. Just acknowledge what others do to their cars and realize that it's personal choice. What they buy is for a reason. And please, if you're riding shotgun, don't become the TOOL looking out your buddy's window trying to front!

I would call that jealousy. Which is the reason a lot of tCs are getting keyed and made fun of. Pure jealousy.
