Would you other tC owners, mainly kids, stop
A: Trying to race each other all the time
B: Stop acting like complete idiots trying to show off your CAI's all the time
and
C: Stop weaving in traffic
We are getting the reputation as the new honda kids...

It's true. I love hearing the stories of street racing, and people getting into wrecks. Also seeing the videos of stupid ___ kids on streetfire.

Makes me happpy I didn't buy a tC, so I'm not labeled as a douche bag racer.

It's not exclusive to the tC line... I see xB guys driving like maniacs, and just as many other "Makes" doing crazy stunts...

the tC is a sport compact car... and will be grouped in with all the other sport compacts... and the typical owners are younger and therefore, tend to have less discresion in regards to driving...

Reluctant acceptance is the next step for you.

To the guy driving the xb they are racing, to the people around, the xb is just making a bunch of noise and not really going any where.

If people buy a xB to streetrace, they are officially retarded.

it's tough when kids get called out by what they perceive to be inferior vehicles....so i understand how they sometimes get suckered in, but streetracing is not a good idea....imo

actually its a pastime if you think about it, its all about when and where you do it. street racing is a big no no but lets face it we all have done it one point or another and that is where alot of cars, cultures and drivers come from. its all about respect, if your off in a back road in the middle of nowhere doing (whereas its still wrong) your off doing it with a bunch of people organized and you know what your getting yourself into. its usually been dont like that for generations. but you have the group that feels like its "cool" to race at 5pm on a wed. during afternoon traffic. those are the ones that give a bad rep for everyone. i dont race anymore but i used to back when i lived in fl. until i saw the things the younger kids were doing. Ive had 2 occasions that really got me out of it 1. when a kid in a blue si started tapping my car because he wanted to race 2. when a kid in an integra started following me through traffic because he wanted to race and ended up flipping his car. those are the dumbasses that ruin everything and next thing you know your getting pulled over because your car is too low and your considered one of the immature ****** who dont know how to drive...

whoo end rant!

I agree with kikcaffine, but don't generalize Honda owners as being dumba$$es. There are dumba$$es in any car imaginable, I've seen more idiots in SRT-4 then any car actually. I was a Honda civic owner before it was totalled, and I didn't drive like an idiot.

i dont mind the street racing if its in an enclosed enviorment. BUT, the testosterone filled revs, burnouts and weaving through traffic must stop. if you want to keep your car more than a few months, knock it off. its a fact 1 in 4 people get in a BAD accident AT LEAST once in their lives. dont make it worse.

...especially all you prissy b*tch kids who dont pay a dime for "daddys car". or for the clothes on your back!

Agreed!

I normally baby my car around corners and that, any car for that matter, but sometimes I always like to hear the engine scream, nothing wrong with that

New Honda Kids? Thats a bad rep...just the Civics, CRXs, and Del Sols right? Cuz not many Accord(mine ) that are bad/___ like most civics....

No, you are labeled a geeky box owner... Seriously, I am not bashing you, but there are people who will label you as something regardless of what you drive, look like, etc. And really.. they are weak peices of $#it. The only way you are above it is if you dont care. If you drove a caddy you would be labeled as something else.

The point is, young drivers in general are given the bad name.. not tc owners, honda owners.. etc. But only to those that are categorizing people.

I could care less if someone thinks I am a "ricer" or whatever for what I drive. I am an adult.. not some kid that cares what the other kids in school think about me... hell I wasnt one of those when I WAS a kid in school

Agreed!

My thing is that if some dumb@ss weaves in and out and nearly kills me or my family, I WILL be the first thing they see when they get out of the car.. and the last thing they see for some hours afterwards :D

Yeah I think name calling stopped back in... grade school. As for the OP, I'd say just let them do it. Those are the cars I drive past flipped over in a ditch and I just shake my head and move on. If the parents buy their kids new cars and not teach them any better... then they can live with the consequences.

yea but its not even just them, there actions affect the rest of us. thats why they keep coming out with stricter and stricter tuning laws. I know for a fact fl doesnt have it that bad as far as parts installation but there laws about racing are just as bad as california and now if florida if your caught racing a coouple of times then boom car crushed.
