i was surfing ebay and came across these pillars. what do you guys think?

i just want to get some opinions before i pick up a set.

I would be iffy on them installing with 3M tape though.
I guess as long as you prep the surface well enopugh they will be ok.

I think it would look good to get rid of the white A pillars, but that's a lotta $$$ :shock: :shock:

To be honest, they don't look to professionally made from just the photos.

The left side pillar (that's the one with the gauge pods for those not automotively inclined) looks like it is made from multiple peices and the weave doesn't seem to line up - but it could also just be a trick of the camera though (I hope so for $300+!)

They are obviously wet-layed in a mold though and not vaccuum bagged or anything, you can tell the finish is a little wavy in the photos.

I'd want to see these in person before I'd buy them.

I love carbon fiber (as everybody knows), but these pillars would totally destroy the flow of color in the interior. You'll have the gray headliner with the black dash with 2 huge pieces of carbon fiber in between? I don't think so. Run carbon fiber gauges. I'm saving up for them now..........................Now I have to figure out if I want to paint the gauge pod or not when I get it from AutoMeter.
