View Full Version : TUNER SHOPS/STORES IN THE MARIETTA GA AREA?
rumrunner42 07-30-2006, 05:30 PM Hey all, whats going on. Listen i am trying to find a decent shop who knows what they are doing when it comes to imports and tuning and the lot. I hail from Marietta, Ga. Ive looked on the internet for places, but i have found nothing. I was wondering if anyone from my area knows of a good place that i can go to if i need help with anything. Thanks for all your help yall.
BagNasty 07-30-2006, 06:09 PM What are you looking for? Work to be done or a shop that sells parts? If you are looking for work to be done I can pretty much do anything you want to do when it comes to a Scion. I live right up the road in Canton
rumrunner42 07-30-2006, 06:23 PM basically, i just need someone with a little more experience than i to help with my coilover install, sway bars and my exhaust that i just bought. I know i can do it myself, but considering its been...well a long time since i have done anything like this, i would rather be safe than sorry and forget to do something or whatever and ruin either my car or something i bought for my car. I will be home for the month of August so perhaps we can get together. I will pay you or whatever for a helping hand. Perhaps we can work something out.
BagNasty 07-30-2006, 06:27 PM Np man be glad to help you out in anyway I can. We (Scinergy Ga) are having a meet today at The Varsity in downtown Atl you should come out. There is a topic here about the meet
rumrunner42 07-30-2006, 06:30 PM Man...I would love to, but i cant. I am in the Air Force currently stationed in England. I actually just asked for membership even though I am in the military. However ill be home on leave for the entire month of August. After that i am moving out to vegas where my next base is. But i would like to stay in touch with Scinergy, because i HAVE to represent the great city of Atlanta. Will you be available in August?
Mrs_Scion_XA 07-30-2006, 06:40 PM yeah...actually there is a chapter out in that area...
Magnus213 07-31-2006, 05:56 AM We did my car's springs and sway bars in less than two hours and the exhaust takes no time, two bolts and three hangers. The coilovers should be easier than springs since you're just switching the whole things out, too.
Rabid_Lemming 07-31-2006, 06:32 PM I'm gonna get some welding and eventually dyno tuning done at a shop near me, if you want their information, but I live in ::cough coughCummingcough cough:: But the sways and the exhaust we can prolly do...I have no idea about coilovers though. Also, maybe PM Complication because he has a shop he deals with that did his Quafe ATB Diff, custom exhaust, and some other good stuff.
rumrunner42 08-01-2006, 11:30 AM Yeah I could probably use the information. I just got my tracking order from megan racing, but i have yet to get anything other than "recieved..processing" from dezod.com. I am not worried about it, but kinda sucks cause thats where i ordered my Tein SS-P's from and my Hotchkis sway bar set. The exhaust should be no problem, I can more than likely do that myself. However, for the sway bars and coilovers, i would like to have someone help me that way i dont mess anything up and that i learn properly. Just hope dezod.com gets on the ball and ships my stuff!!!!!!!!

kaos672 08-01-2006, 02:27 PM There is a shop on Roswell Rd. up the street from the Big Chicken. It's called Tire Star. They have wheels, tires, and etc. Go there and ask for a guy named Hero. He help me out with wheel info when I went there last Saturday past. My wife recommended it to me because she passes it on here way from work.

Colorado05 08-03-2006, 02:26 PM Rock on, yeah I spend a bit of time there also. If you see a bright yellow colorado with 20s and flames around thats me.
There is a show on the 26 of this month at the xmas tree farm at butterworth and bells ferry, if the wife can get off work we will have both rides there. Last time it was more of a hot rod show but with enough preticipation (sp?) we can show them what the new rides are all about also.
