Scion TC mod questions
To impress friends on a budget, get an EBAY JDM short ram intake and a Tsudo stainless steel axle back exhaust. It sounds really deep and the total cost is under $250 shipped. I had a Secret Weapon R and still have the Tsudo, but I didn't notice much of a difference with the Weapon R so i sold it and got the EBAY intake for $20. I also had an Alpha Werks SS header and sold that to. Problem is that most of these items don't produce any usable power until you hit 6000 rpm. So it is most for show and drag racing, and let me tell you that drag racing is a expensive sport - and i do mean VERY EXPENSIVE!! My research (and wallet) have proved that forced induction/turbo is the only way to go. I have a Flyin Miata FM1 turbo on my Miata and a turbonectics TURBO is what I will get for my TC this Fall, that is if I dont sell my car when next generation Highlander is available (I miss the Lexus RX300 I leased). Turbonectics is what I am looking at from Joe Dezod. He is very knowlegeable and has answered all my questions in a timely manner. HOPE THIS INFO HELPS...
