Default camshafts

I want performance camshafts and valve springs for my 2AZ....where can I find them? I've shopped all over the Camry markets, as well as anything I can find for tC's, but no dice. Only stock replacements. Anyone know a place that can "regrind" the factory cams? I'd be willing to pay for it.

Re-grinds can and have *hint hint* been done but keep in mind that you are limited by what you have to work with. That not only includes the cam lobes themselves but by the lifter shims, valve stem thickness, ect.

Cam regrinds along with aftermarket replacements are in the testing phases. Re-grinds may or may not provide a performance increase worth offering.

cams just arent really that necessary for a tC. from what ive been told some companies have tested and really havent notice much of any gains. So they decided to not produce...I thought cower dropped the project....ill check with my sources @ skunk2 on it.

HOpefully you would be willin to pay for it...or else they will kill your or take you to court....why you worried bout cams so much? Unless your going to retards/advance em....n work on the engine itself..maybe 10whp gain for like...dohc.....900bucks +....blah...maybe if you were pushing a lot it would be more beneficial....

Why would they send me to court? or even kill me? I think a lot people here in SL where asking about cams too. Even the EVO guys gain 12whp with just a change in cams, and they still buy it... sooo what's your deal?

Their head package Stg2 is reasonably priced. But as always if you can install the parts yourself, it will save you money.
