The sunroof sounds very nice. That's one major mod that I'd love to add to my xA.
BTW, what's the grill on the black xA pictured above?

They need to have something with a metallic feel or a little pearl in it for their special editions.

the red doesn't do it for me. the moonroof does but there are places around here that can put in a moonroof for a reasonable price.

I never understood the point of traction control in a FWD car, especially one with 105ft-lbs of torque.

Traction Control - think of this. You are on a steep hill, waiting either for the fast moving traffic to clear so you may merge onto the crossroad, or you are at a stoplight waiting for it to change. Throw in snow or rain if you like. With a stickshift, you have to let off on the brake fast while trying to slip clutch and stomp on gas pedal without the vehicle slipping back too much. Without traction control, what ends up happening is tht you end up releasing the brake fast, and stomping on the gas while dumping the cluch. This sudden acceleration will spin the wheels while the dude in the automatic behind plows into you because he hasn't noticed you weren't moving even though your brake lights had flicked off several seconds earlier.
I have such a hill in my area. I can tell you that traction control gets you up the hill every time without spinning. Without it, even in a fwd automotic, often spins wheels on a dry day, although it will catch and move ahead right away after leaving a little rubber. Forget a wet or snow day. With traction control - no problem.
Even on a level street with snow, slush and or ice, traction control gets you through it and out of the neighborhood while without it, you are often stuck. Sort of a poor man's AWD or 4WD. Works nicely, except usually in vehicles with traction control you don't have the ground clearance that AWD and 4WD vehicles do to be able to really take advantage of it in snow.
If I recall, traction control works in conjunction with the ABS brakes to apply/release as appropriate to avoid slipping. Sounds simple, just like ABS brakes sound simple, but computer control does it better than probably 99% of the driving population.

Stability control on the xA doesn't make sense to me though. Here's what I see on it taken from an xB review:
"Stability control senses unusual lateral movement and employs the standard four-wheel anti-lock brakes or throttle control to keep the wagon wheels-side down." That sounds like trying to keep a top-heavy vehicle from tipping over as it rounds a fast corner.Or, "attempts to restrain a vehicle from spinning out of control by adjusting the application of throttle and brakes" - sounds like traction control again!
What I do like abot the xB is the traction control being standard: "uses the ABS and or throttle control to reduce slippage when moving away from the light on slippery surfaces."
I also like the antilock brakes (ABS) with Brake Assist (which increases braking pressure in emergency situations) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (which apportions braking force to the tires with the most traction)
Originally heard that the RS2 would be out in July, but I've just been told September

it seems that pulse already posted most of the specs here which was back in may
The date is mid-September. I spoke to my Regional Scion manager about this and he claims a mid-September delivery. he also confirmed the moonroof and the color. I didn't ask about VSC or the spoiler. I would assume the spoiler is the same as is currently available.

Does anyone know how hard it is to get one of the limited editions? How hard was it for ya'll that have the Hot Lava box to get them? What did you have to do?
