opinions?
Before...

After...

Another Angle...

bat made the process easy and the installation was no problem at all. i highly recommend his overlays, and now its time to start thinking about getting a smoked one for the orange in the headlights...

Why not get some red LED bulbs, so at least the cops still think you have clear backup lights.

in the way of the legality, good point. i think it is illegal to have reverse lights that are anything but white or amber. however, there are stock cars out there that dont have an amber or clear reverse light lens but still have a legal reverse light color. so unless 1.) a cop is actually looking for a car without clear reverse lights, 2.) he knows for a fact that my car has an overlay and not factory tailights, and/or 3.) he sees me in reverse without white/amber lights, i dont think ill have a problem. plus, these overlays look pretty stock compared to the smoke ones, so i dont think itll draw much attention from an everyday person/policeman. anyone out there with red-out reverse lights have a problem yet? if so, share your experience with us!
p.s.- an example of a car with a different color lens is my dads car, a 1999 honda accord. his reverse lenses are pink, but the light is still white.

^Definitely. At night it's totally visible. I'm actually getting another pair so the reflectors can't be seen during the day because at SOME (very few) angles you can still see the orange. I'm just picky like that. But one pair is sufficient if you just want the orange gone.

You're probably okay with the red overlay until you get pulled over... Since cops tend to park behind ya, it may catch his eye...
