How long after you ordered your tC did it take to get in....i was told 1 and a half weeks to 2 weeks. Just wanted to know if that sounds acurate or not.

total bs.. they just wants u to order there so incase they do get it in they can get a sale.. I placed my deposit from 1 dealer in late May and still haven't gotten it yet. was told that I'm first on the list.. on a white manual.... and she said she doesn't even know what time they'll get it in.... luckily I also placed an order in another dealer (no deposit down) they said they'll know it'll be in on 7/20.. so on 7/20 i'm going to getting my deposit back from the other dealer...

 

lol optimus was it really necessary to create two topic posts in under 3 minutes? what color and how long it took kinda fall in the same catagory doesn't it :D or are we still trying to double the number of xB forum posts by august.
dealers should be able to trade among themselves so you can get the color u want. I think that's supposed to be an added advantage of 'pure priceing' not sure though.

 

Ordered mine on a Saturday got it on wednesday the next week.

 

Pretty much the same thing with me. I put my deposit down early June, and the dealer still has no idea when they're coming in. I was searching on my own all this time until I finally found someone who had almost exactly what I wanted. I'm getting mine this weekend, so it's been a month.

 

Ive been getting the run around with my dealership, Im extremelly ____ed, I ordered a few weeks ago and being told beginning of sep... what CRAP, I could order one NOW and get it around then. I was their first order, and when I went in today I talked to another salesman and he checked my order, he said 5spd flint? We got one coming your name is? And I said my name and suddenly he changed his tune, oh no no flint 5spds coming in soon... I think they bumped me down the list for someone else who wanted more options.

Saw it some off the carrier, purchased it 2 days later. No order, just timing.

 

2 weeks on monday like i was told at first

1 week into it they told me at the end of the month but now they are back on schedule.....

didn't order it or anything. i went to the dealer the day they came out in the pa area and they had the one i wanted sitting there, so i bought it

 

I ordered my IIP tC on June 11th and I'm STILL WAITING for it!!! The guy told me, on July 1st that it would be "about three weeks!" THAT IS NUTS!!!! I can't take the waiting!

 

i was #5 .. 2 already got theirs this past week.. still no word on my flint mica tC .. itll be 1 week tomarrow .. im going away for the weekend so im glad its not here yet.. but hopefully next week .. i stil have to get insurance though cuz my dealer doesnt offer temps

 

Haha, mine took 2 and a half months... but I ordered it back in April! lol :D

It's a 2 week wait at the local dealerships here.

I couldn't wait that long, so I drove 4 hours to a dealer that had one (and they waved the doc fee for me! - Las Cruces Scion in Las Cruces, NM - guy by the name of Jon Stewart set everything up by phone for me, SUPER nice guy). But they're in stock at alot of the dealerships here in AZ.

 

I had my Scion dealer get his first allocation (he was only allocated ONE initially) based on my specs. I test drove last Friday and bought yesterday. Flint Mica/AT

So far, so good. It is a great looking car (unless you are CyberGypsy).

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the tC delivery process at all...some wait a week, some wait months. It's frustrating because the dealership I ordered mine from had a Black Manual and a Silver Auto coming in in less than a week...they had been allocated to them and neither were sold yet. But of course, I really wanted a Silver Manual, so I had to order it. I was told it would take 2-4 weeks, and so far it's been 1 week since I ordered. I just really hope I don't end up getting screwed like some of you folks who have been told September! That's just ridiculous...

Riverside Scion of Tulsa told me there is a 30 day wait. Jim Norton Scion of Tulsa said they can get one in about 2 weeks.
