The GReddy portion (not the midpipe) leading up to the muffler? tc2nut4 08-06-2006, 06:17 PM 2.5 i believe... i'll measure when i get home tonight... mr_speedvision 08-06-2006, 06:25 PM Thanks, I'm looking to go with that exhaust and a custom mid/s pipe. I want to try to match the tubing diameter. I also see that you have a header and the Megan mid pipe. How is the sound? tc2nut4 08-06-2006, 07:00 PM a little raspier than id like but makes a hp diffrence... i'd say i'm the quickes TC in my area because of it. Sounds good and deep though and its not too loud unless you get on it. A++ in my book  mr_speedvision 08-09-2006, 02:12 AM Anyone? b_wet 08-09-2006, 02:17 AM i have the evo2 and im almost sure the tip of the exhaust is liek 3" i could be wrong since it looks so huge. lol. but it sounds amazing. i would love to know what it sould sound like with a DC headers and mid and s pipe. mr_speedvision 08-09-2006, 02:24 AM I was looking to see how big the other end was... The part that connects to the mid-pipe tc2nut4 08-09-2006, 02:40 AM bwet, i'll make a clip and upload it for you mr_speedvision 08-12-2006, 04:56 PM I just got a reply from Josh at TruBendz: http:/www.trubendz.com $185.00 for the mid pipe. $60.00 for the resonator $75.00 for the cat. $185.00 for the S-Pipe. We use Magnaflow SS resonators and Magnaflow Cats. With the cat and resonator, the exhaust will be quiet. Louder than stock, but not obnoxious. We will pre-weld all parts (resonator, cat, flanges and hangers). Total would be: $505.00 2 1/2" all stainless steel not polished like the Megan Racing, but the quality looks awesome!!! PghtC 08-15-2006, 04:35 PM I wonder if they make the creative compacts exhaust. I have the Borla Muffler, high flow cat, and resonator and it looks exactly like the pics they have on ebay... chrischoi 08-15-2006, 05:43 PM a little raspier than id like but makes a hp diffrence... i'd say i'm the quickes TC in my area because of it. A++ in my book  bryce bryce bryce... so you are on scionlife. fastest tc around? come on man.. i could find something for you.. tc2nut4 08-15-2006, 05:53 PM haha... i dunno we gonna go for a run lol...anywho i was saying that im one of the quicker ones in my area because of the full exhaust, not just my rinky axleback  most of it probably comes from my header though  so what have you been up to mr. choi??? mr_speedvision 08-17-2006, 03:45 AM tc2nut4 ever get a chance to measure the diameter of the greddy pipe? tc2nut4 08-17-2006, 02:01 PM hmmm yes the piping is 2.5" sorry, could have swore i already posted that  BrianCC 08-18-2006, 05:47 AM just check from Greddy site.. tcbyrc 08-19-2006, 12:53 AM I've got the evo on my 06 tc sound great. It looks to be the same size as the rest of the exhaust, before the stock muffler. Hear that the "s" pipe is the way to go, with the rest of the exhaust side. When I put my DC sport header on It got alot louder, almost to loud! but as long as you stay below 3000 rpm it doesn't make the raspy sound. With the evo exhaust it seems to get quiter when you get past 4800 rpm. I just got the AEM cai put in the other day. You can't hear it over the exhuast note. All you hear is the whistle that the intake made before. The dyno is the next thing I'm going to hit up. BrianCC 08-19-2006, 05:43 AM How about inside cabin resonance vib? 11thhour 02-10-2007, 05:28 AM header + evo2 = LOUD inside cabin is so loud it rings in ur ears... cant hear music unless cranked to 35... way too loud... ricer stat, imo FireStorm 02-11-2007, 01:26 AM <DC Headers + Evo II Ridiculus loud and raspy... Btw The tip of the muffler is 4 inches... Stealth_Fighter_tC 02-11-2007, 04:16 AM Do you have an automatic, or manual? Reason im asking is bscause a friend of mine had the EvO II on his tC (automatic) and I had the TRD on mine (manual) we decided to switch them out.....and what a diffrence, theEVO sounds really nice on mine, but the TRD sounded like hell on his......so I kept the EVO on mine!!! HAHA Only other diffrence, besides manual, and auto between our, was that he had DC headers on his car, mine are stock!! HE keeps saying theres a sound diffrence between auto and manuals, but I just dont see how its possible! I guess I could be wrong. Ill know when i put on a set of headers myself! FireStorm 02-15-2007, 07:39 PM Theres a sound difference lol?? I have a Manual 5 speed. The Greddy Evo II sounds really nice without headers....but once you replace those stock headers with the built in cat/converter the noise gets REALLY annoying and loud... I finally put my turbo on so now its all sounding different =D |
