the two tone steering wheel?

I am getting the leather interior, not the TRD pleather, but the real leather interior, and I wondered if anyone had it yet.

Also, I am considering the two tone black/gray steering wheel, but the $275 makes me wonder it it's worth it. Does anyone have that yet?

Please post pics if you can because I'm ordering mine on Saturday.

Ummmm there is no real leather interior.

The only way you are going to get a leather interior in the TC is through an aftermarket installer.

 

Two things,

One, there is a real leather interior. It is performed by an aftermarket installer, but it's a Scion approved installer. Go to just about any Scion dealers website and look at the accessories pricing and you'll se it. It's a $1300-$1400 option.

Two, thanks for the steering wheel pic. I've seen that one though. I was wondering if anyone had actually bought a car with it, and what it looked like in person.

the local dealer i test drove a 5spd silver streak had leather. 2,000 option

was it anything like that cheap looking stuff posted some time ago I wouldn't pay 1000 for that might as well get the leather put on somewhere else, that way when you pay 1500 you'll be gettin good quality not some thin cheap stuff.

I've seen the leather that the dealer installed. This was at the Hollywood Scion/Toyota (First Toyota dealership in the US, too!). It looks ok for leather. I've been in Audis and BMWs and so the leather quality is nowhere near theirs. You can't feel the soft grain and it just doesn't look that expensive. It looks more like the leather you get in typical Japanese cars, I guess. But the worst thing about it, though, is that the way they installed it, the side bolster supports is almost all gone. I don't know about you, but I like my side supports! Especially since these leather chairs are easier to slip around in :?

By the way, I just joined this forum today and am also looking to get a Scion tC soon, Flint Mica!
