I took delivery of my NBM '07 tC yesterday at 2pm and after much highway and country road driving these are my impressions.
For being a heavy car its quite nimble, (im used to a '93 NX 2000) though it might be going from 15's to 17's. It sticks tight to the corners, im still learning the gears so im not too sure about over/understeer (i forget which one fwd's have
), havent felt it yet.
The 5spd feels very solid, im still haveing some trouble geting into 3rd gear quickly, but ill get it, I sill plan on getting a short throw shifter, the height feels really good to me so I will prolly get the CC or the TRD one. It takes time to get used to a new clutch
The headlights have great range on low and high beams, the gauges are nice and easy to read at night.
I can already see the stupid amount of stuff i want to do to this car. There are soo many mods that i want. I'm trying to start out cheap, i ordered blue led's to replace the interior lights (quick and easy),
Mods I have planned:
Eyelids (Blue to match the paint) - $20
Shortthrow shifter - CC - $100 TRD - @cost
Rear sway bar - TRD - @cost
Alpine deck (maybe) and 10" sub - Havent decided on models yet (suggestions welcome)
Tint - Once i find a decent price, 220 is a bit excessive
Does anyone have any sugestions to relatively cheap DIY mods? (Kinda like the led's, jsut easy things that make the car that much funner!)

im glad to hear you're pretty happy with your car!
i say shifter cable bushings, makes the shifter feel so much more solid
also, look into getting the speedsource motor mounts, when they come out....or maybe an ingellis stiffy engine damper, wheel hop is a problem with our cars.
but if it was up to me, i would invest in detailing supplies because i'm freak about that, good luck

I do need those too, i was just about to search to see what good wax and such is to keep it shiny, i have the liquid turtle wax and shammies and all that stuff. But im sure that isnt ideal to keep it like new.

With the antenna I'd need a decent one, because where i live its quite hilly i do listen to the radio alot.
i thought the led's dont blink for turn signals (somthing about current and the flash relay) i woulnt mind changing my mirror lights to a blue led tho
I recenltly are at about your same mileage... I think everything is great, except once in a while I hear a rattle somewhere in the steering column that goes away eventually and today I even heard some type of squeaking... couldn't figure out where it was coming from, somewhere on the passenger side? It went away after a while.
Unfortunately though, when trying to make a turn today, I didn't realize how ridiculously narrow roads Boston Market has in their parking lots, and scratched/rashed my wheel right at the rim of it... ugh! At first I just hoped I had run over it with my tire.. but got out, and great jagged narrow rash at the rim... took off a small part of the tiny really thin rubber ribbon that goes on the tire as well(didn't get the actual tire I believe) Probably about two inches... my car hasn't even hit a month

I agree!!!!
Oversteer is fun, manageable, safe, enjoyable, and intuitive, whether intentional or not.
Unintentional understeer makes the bottom drop out of my stomach. I usually manage to muck my way out of it though.
