I'm 6'3" 210lbs with long legs I thought the same thing during my test drive, but now I think there's plenty of room in the box.

I drive my box everyday 40 miles round trip to work and although this car is not as comfortable as my last car (Volvo 940 turbo, you can't beat volvo seats for long distance), I think this car is plenty comfortable.

If it matters my car is a 5 spd.

I'm 6' 4", commute an hour each way to work every day, and I am absolutely comfortable in my xB. I find the seats very upright, more like a truck than a car seat, which I far prefer.

I've got 38" arms (fairly long, even for my height), but with the seat all the way back and the wheel slightly tilted up I find the distance perfect for me.

I'm 6' 3-3/4" (lost a little over the years ;^) and I find that my xB fits me quite well. It's even better now that I installed some 3/4" spacers on the front bolts (the bolts needed to be replaced too) of the front seats to make them tilt back just a little . . . .

i'm 6'1" and big...part of the reason i wanted the xB was because it was comfy. I have a friend who is about 6'4" and not exactly skinny either, and he is comfortable in the box.

I'm only 6'2" but it one of the few cars I can sit in with out having the seat leaning way back. A friend in another club is really tall, I would say that dude is 6' 5" or so. He loves his xB.

I'm 6'-3", 210 lbs. and love the fit. If the seat were any further back I would need arm extensions. Having a telescoping wheel would be nice, but it's a econo-car. It's funny to watch people run over to the passenger side to get in the back thinking there will be no room sitting behind me! Once they get in I tell them the front seats are as far back as they will go and they are simply amazed at the room. I love this box.

I'm 6'5" and love the room, especially the headroom. that sold it for me. now why can't the tC be comfy to us tall people. I would love a tC but there is no way I could drive it as a daily driver. I had to look through the sunroof just to see the stop lights.

Yeah the room in the back is truly amazing I was so surprised the first time I sat back there with my driver seat slid all the way back....not to mention all the room you have when you flip the seats down and throw a few pillows in the back (**** wagon! )

I am 6'2ish and the box is one of the most comfortable things I've ever driven. I keep my seat about 1 click from being all the way back because I am tall but I guess my arms arent that long or something becasue when it's all the way back I have to stretch to reach the wheel and I don't like that. My only complaint is that I rub my right knee on the grey plastic trim around the vertical center console and it has a little spot where the paint has rubbed off.

It took me about a week to find a comfortable position. I always had enough leg room but the seats killed by mid-lower back for the first week. I finally found the right position now I feel really comfortable. It's also easy to get in and out of there too. Much more easier than any car. The other day I came out of a store and this guy said, "Don't you feel cramped in that tiny little thing?" I said, "No it's actually quite roomy inside." He just stood there and scratched his head a few times as I drove off.

I think you just helped me name my new xB btw, Sci-Fi channel has been running the new Doctor Who recently, so you can always claim to be referring to that and not date yourself.

Anyway, I am 6'4" and about 270lbs and so far I love it. I test drove the xB 3 times before finally buying one because I kept worrying that maybe it would be too small. While I think the front seats could have another notch or two to go back further, but I actually don't need it, and it would probably make reaching the steering wheel uncomfortable if it was further back. The seating position is unlike any other car I have driven before. It is more like sitting at a table in some respects in that you don't have your legs extended far forward.
