what do you think about molding bodykit?
so yah,i remember seeing the light blue tc with the buddyclub 2 molded...squeeky clean.there has to be cons to this method.i would like to hear...read..
I think it looks good, but Imagine if you need to take something off?
I got an alignment at the dealer and they couldnt get the car on the lift with the front bumper of my kit on. I had to take it off. What would I have done if it was molded? I would have had to take off the front bumper, quarter panel and all in one shot. Not possible.
What if you get in a small fender bender? Now not only do you have to paint the front bumper but its going to crack where it was molded. What if you want to go turbo and put in a front mount intercooler?
You cant replace your tail lights without dropping the rear bumper. You cant install an intake without dropping your front bumper.
So yeah it can be a hassle.

Bad Idea!! unless its a show car.
My last car was an acura integra and I had the body kit molded on. All the things mentioned above are absolutely true. Also my car was lowered so if you go over a speed bump and you scrape, you will not just be scratching the paint on the body kit, you can also break the molding.
Its just to much of a hassle for a daily driven car.
