hey guys.. before i go install this thing, i wanna make sure i don't break the o2 sensor.. people recommend me to spray it with wd40 at least twice, which i'll do. from under the car, am i gonna be loosening the o2 sensor my way or the opposite? i want this installation to go flawless.. so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the old spipe and then soak it and remove the sensor. That worked for me.

 

Get som PB Blaster:

A million times better than the WD.

 

i just unplugged the o2 sensor and took it out along with the s-pipe.

 

I did as well, but I didnt soak it in anything so it stripped with all its glory. Had to rethread it with a dremel.

 

i guess im one of the lucky ones. I didnt spray anything on it and it came out perfectly fine. I stripped the crap out of the one on my header when i changed to a DC header though

 

i sprayed mine once, it came out, after a little fighting, and a busted knuckle
