Default N/A Power

I am interested in What kinda power you guys think this combo would make?
K&N CAI
Xtreme Performance Ported Intake Manifold
Xtreme Performance Ported Head including a 5 angle valve job.
MMV Header and S-Pipe
Draxis (Spelling?) Cat Back (excpet not reaaly since there is no cat haha)
This is through an automatic tranny.

What about stock cams vs. aftermarket cams

Also kinda a random easy side question how many gears does a auto tC have?

For an auto? It'll probably put you at about 160 on the ground, no way to tell though really. No one on this board has done anything like that with any sort of concrete proof.

You're not dealing with some huge displacement hardcore all-motor engine, so don't be expecting huge results.

And auto's have 4 gears, if I remember right.

Aftermarket cams do not exist for the tC.

I dont think you want Draxas exhaust for all N/A power.. keeping the cat is going to hurt you, as well as all those bends..

autos have four gears plus torque converter lock up, giving you that overdrive for the highway. its not actually a 5th gear, it just takes the place of one.

With those mods I would expect:
14.9-15.3 with a manual
15.6-15.9 with an automatic

hope this helps. its a little confusing if you don't have much knowledge on auto trannies. but this is a great website for any kind of knowledge. I used as a secondary text book when I went through trade school.

Benefits and Weak Points
In addition to the very important job of allowing your car come to a complete stop without stalling the engine, the torque converter actually gives your car more torque when you accelerate out of a stop. Modern torque converters can multiply the torque of the engine by two to three times. This effect only happens when the engine is turning much faster than the transmission.
At higher speeds, the transmission catches up to the engine, eventually moving at almost the same speed. Ideally, though, the transmission would move at exactly the same speed as the engine, because this difference in speed wastes power. This is part of the reason why cars with automatic transmissions get worse gas mileage than cars with manual transmissions.

To counter this effect, some cars have a torque converter with a lockup clutch. When the two halves of the torque converter get up to speed, this clutch locks them together, eliminating the slippage and improving efficiency.

I dynoed today and just off my intake and full megan racing exhaust I gianed 15.3 HP.

I live in denver CO, (5,280 + feet above sea level) so my numbers aren't as high as sea level but I put down 143 hp 141.9 FT_ILBS of torque. this was converted to the flywheel, so converting it back puts me at around 120 to the wheels. now remember I have a 20% total loss of HP at this elevation.

So did you gain 15.3whp or 15.3 flywheel horsepower?

it shouldn't matter, the numbers should be the same, but with my calculations it would be to the fly.
