As a follow up to the Little Feet across Texas event helping B.A.C.A. and the Garden of Angels that is on Saturday, Sept. 9th., The Scion Guys are having a get together after the event. We will have a “show off”, of sorts, here at the dealership starting at 8:00 pm till around 10 pm with food being catered by Napolis.

We will have one judged event at 9 pm; “the brightest car in DFW”.

As for us, we have a new showroom (although not completed) to show off and a Scion tC that probably has the biggest “sneekers” you will probably see. It is cool…. a Scion tC dragster that has 1,500 hp at the wheel (yeh, it’s turbocharged). It is a car that was created locally, that will be rocking the NOPI circuit nation wide soon enough. We want the Scion family to come out and “show off” your cars. This is a much needed nighttime get together with a prize for the brightest car.

SO…… everyone start your engines… Get your glow on and get out to Sport City Scion for the opening event of our new showroom after the Little Feet across Texas event.

ALSO……We will still be accepting shoes and school supplies to be given to B.A.C.A. at the show, so if you can’t make it to the event at the Garden of Angels, please bring your donations with you and know that they will be greatly accepted and given directly to B.A.C.A. for distribution.

This will not be a show for judging or prizes, just a time for everyone to get together, hang out and just plain….. “show off”!

Cool can't wait to see the tC, and glow a little. I have been listening to the 30th anniversary of Fly Like an Eagle and it is incredible. It is remastered, has a surround version of the album, dvd of a live concert and great interview with Steve Miller. Highly Recommended. Buy it after you have bought some shoes and school supplies. We hope to hit a thousand pair of shoes!!

No it is not the tC from JoTech. Bob Norwood has created our car over here in Garland. In total, there are two terrific cars (soon to be 3) that are coming from the DFW area. DFW is soon to be the tC dragster capital of America..... and we all live here. Lucky us.

 

Well the brightest car comp is Wide FN open now...

My car is um, not even.... anything,
and Ben is 'very busy' with broken bolts....
So that would be two IMO 'ringers' that are OUT...

The dragster is not here right now. There are still changes being made to the car and it is still over at T&T Motorsports. We hope to have it here the full week befoe the show, if not we will have it here as much as possible after the event as the car gets finalized.

 

i dont have my tC just yet, but can i still show up to this thing?

 

Of course. Everyone is welcome..... just be sure to bring a pair of shoes (new, any size) or some school supplies..... we need as much help as we can get to help out the disadvantaged children in the area (just so you know), but I am sure you were goign to bring some already weren't you?

Stopped by Sport City Sat. and if you haven't been by in awhile you need to check out the new show room. If you have been by lately, you haven't seen what Jeff showed me that will be the next addition, that should be done by the event....it is very cool for them and might trickle down to us in the family/community. jj/cc I sent you a PM
