Default Pioneer iPod adapter install

There's a two wire power supply cable. the ground obviously goes to the chassis, but what'd you use for the yellow (positive) lead? I'm about to do this install here in a week or two and it'd help me out a bunch.

thanks!

I spliced into the Yellow 12v lead of the stereo harness before the stereo fuse. Figured it'd be the best way because it has its own small fuse and why put more load on the receiver fuse I had the setup in my car for about a year, then I threw an Alpine 9857 in.. and now I'm at a IVA-W200 so I just needed the cheap little cable :D

Sir--

Did you install this on your factory head unit, or an after market one? If so, hows the sound quality, and does it display the song info on the display of the head unit?

I installed it on an aftermarket one. It displays a bunch of information depending on how you set it and which head unit you get.

i also just spliced it into the 12V from the harness behind the deck.

the sound quality is great, and imo its the cleanest way to get ipod integration into any car

Ok i think i might be buying this adapter tomorrow. But first will this work with the existing 05 Pioneer Head Unit in my tC?

Oh, I am wondering cause i just noticed on BestBuys site they have it listed at $50 right now.
