Default Test Drove a Manual tC

So i went to the dealership today to get my frist oil change, and while i was waiting, i decided to go to the scion area and check it out. I saw they had a 07 white tC mtx, and i thought i asked the salesman to let me test drive it. he was pretty cool and gave me the keys after the license and insurance copy. Anywayz...wow, wat a difference. Although i'm not a very good maunal driver, i did manage not to stall it. First gear was sooo damn short, lol, just like i've read before, but i had no idea just how short until today. For some reason, i was always rough going into 2nd gear, but 3rd and up was a smooth transaction. Either way, despite the fact that i didnt do too well, that was fun, *sigh* wish i had gotten an manual back then. But then again, after looking at the traffic on the highway, i had a second thought. O, and another interesting thing was that the tC was outfitted with leather all-around. I didnt know the dealership actually had that option. That leather interior was nice tho.

yea man, there are a lot of options that you wouldn't think it has, but the dealer is more than happy to put them in for you, but of course you gotta $$$

At my dealership, there was a ~$29,500 tC on display inside, pretty crazy. Did most of my paperwork right beside it.

But that was cool that the salesperson didn't have a problem with you test driving a tC even though you weren't buying anything

Default Dealers

Dealers love to show peopel new cars when you currently have a car throught them for two reasons.

1. After the first year of financing you just got done paying off only intrests
2. They get an extra commision for that new scion, after I think 25 scions sold toyota gives them one for free.

Heh, the salesman was currently working on some other ppl i think cuz when i walked in, he just went to give another couple the keys to testdrive, and so i just asked him to let me test drive. As soon as i came back tho, someone was already waiting to drive the same car, haha.

Man, are you serious about the free car after they sell 25? thats not a bad deal at all seeing how nice they're selling.

Default No Joke

They get like 500 flat for selling a scion. The two ways that they get good money is sales incentives by sellinng 25 and financing.

I kinda miss not getting a manual, but heck they are all good so I can't complain. It's a new car either way right?
