Default Weapon-R ETD fit issues on xA

I've recently acquired a Weapon-R Engine Damper for my xA. While trying to mount the strut bracket, I noticed that the bracket won't fit due to the location of the AC line. Even if I unbolt the AC bracket on the strut tower, there's not enough safe play to move the AC line far away enough from the bracket.

Has anyone here had similar problems with their xA and Weapon-R engine damper? It seems the xB engine bay may be a bit wider, or the xB's AC lines are routed slightly differently.

Thanks for your suggestions and help!

{edited} Upon further inspection, my AC lines seem to be routed the same way as the pre-06's. That being established, I'm wondering if my bracket has been made differently, perhaps slightly longer, thus extending further into the engine bay.

I've put in a call to MMW (Rev Int'l Ltd), but it's the weekend so I probably won't hear back from them until Monday.

Watching this post for updates when/if you get any. I've got the damper in a box in my basement, but have to get some shorter strut nuts before I can put it on because the bracket along with the dc-sports strut bar are too thick to use the stock nuts.

Default *** MonsterMotorWorks, please read this post!***

This post is probably now more for informational purposes rather than looking for a fix. The only fix that I foresee is MMW/Weapon-R sending me another bracket that doesn't extend into the engine bay quite so far.

Here's some pictures to prove that I'm not going batty.

The first is my strut bracket mounted. I've tried to point out the area where the difference would be most obvious with yellow dimension lines. Note how far it extends (to the right) into the engine bay, thus interfering with the AC line.

Next is cseika's mount. His bracket seems to immediately bend downwards after it clears the strut tower, thus not protruding into the engine bay as much. It does seem to nearly contact the AC line in the rear, but I'm sure it doesn't.

Lastly, you'll see how much the bracket pushes my (detached) AC line inwards.

MonsterMotorWorks, hopefully you note this and will double-check your inventory to make sure no one else ordering this runs into the same issues I'm having.

I'll be calling Rev Int'l on Monday to hopefully get this resolved quickly.

It's a great part, I hope you get this fixed soon. You may need to get some of the bracket cut off.

Hmm....your issue may be an anomoly ASC. I did place my bracket on my strut tower a couple weeks ago when I first got it and discovered the issued with my nuts not working. Of course I didn't take a close look at it when I did, but I didn't notice it not sitting flat or hitting the A/C like yours at that position.

Very reassuring to hear that they are working with you though.

I just want to drop a line to everyone in the Xa world and let you know Ingalls has not forgot about you and we are working on a Engine torque dampner which will be coming out in the near future. Check out www.ingallseng.com for more info

lastlookcustoms has the ingalls listed already. A little pricey though, $211.

If this link works.

I'm clueless as to the answer on if they're shipping yet for certain. Just remembered seeing that a day or two ago.

I'm having the same exact problem with my Wep-R torque dampner for my tc. It hits the ac line and the bracket is different than in the picture... which im sure the picture is fairly generic. Has anyone found out anything new on this? im going to keep searching for more answers to my problem.
