Go with the PM Axle Back! You will get what you're looking for! (For less $$$ too!) I can't say enough about Gabe and Precision Muffler.

megan is louder. The PM is probally the most quietest exhaust out there! But when you get on it, it has a nice deep tone!

I chose the PM axleback for quiet/deep tone. Gabe did the work yesterday and I cannot be more pleased with the result. Great guy, excellent workmanship.
If you are looking for quiet/deep tone, then PM is an excellent choice.

PM is dead silent.... period.

An aftermarket header makes it louder, but just as loud as any other aftermarket exhaust out there.

Precision Muffler is the way to go. It has an awesome sound and looks the best, IMO.

I own the PM.... It's crush-bent, but not nearly as bad as it appears on the site. At the WORST sections of the crush-bent, it might get down to about 2 inches, but never any smaller.

Basically, it is a muffler-shop fabrication using off-the-shelf parts, just made available for direct shipping instead of going to a shop yourself. I happen to think the quality is pretty damn good considering a single guy makes each one by hand.

It should flow more than the TRD, as the PM uses a straight-through magnaflow muffler with a uni-directional exhaust path. However, there are NO dynos of the PM exhaust to date.

The PM exhaust is designed for people who don't want to spend too much $, but at the same time, realize that pretty much ANYTHING is better than the stock exhaust / TRD setups... It also happens to be the most quiet exhaust on the market today.

Driving the car, it is impossible to tell that it has an exhaust. The only way you can hear the exhaust is by standing right behind the car with a friend stabbing at the gas pedal.

Thanks for the props everyone. :D We are coming up with a new axle back for the header people out there. We have a new axle back that is a few decibals quieter than our regular axle back. :D

The Precisionmuffler.com axle back is pretty quiet, but has a nice sound at WOT. I wanted to make one that was quieter. :D
