Default stereo xA versus tC

I read a review indicating the tC stereo is "enhanced" over the xA and xB. I thought the same when I test drove both but the HU looks identical in each vehicle. Does someone know the specs on each? The Scion web site just says 160 watts in four speaker plus two tweeters.

Thanks.

I wonder if they compared it to the '04 HU? Or if you have the '05, press and hold the SSP button and switch to tC. More than likely the acoustics inside the tC is better than the xA/xB. Smaller interior compared with the two.

The tC radio is a bit advanced. But in general any 05 head unit is the same. What you get extra is an enhanced mp3 reader that filters out the distortion in the cd to make it sound better. Also you have one more ssp selection to choose from but in general I have noticed that the xA ssp selection on all models sounds the best. One more thing you can do on the 05 head units is customize the welcome screen to whatever you want.
