Default Quick question on oven door closing

I just had the dealer install my iPod stereo, and they have screwed some things up. Little things, like the fact that the iPod and Aux connectors are apparently not connected to the stereo.

They scratched one corner of the oven door as well, but it is small and hard to notice, and I have no way to prove it. Basically it's not worth the hassle. But I want to make sure they didn't screw it up in other ways as well.

If I close the oven door slowly, it stops closing about 1/2 inch from fully closed. I then push it again and it closes. I don't remember this "catch" before, but maybe I just always slammed it quickly. Can anyone run out and check their xB and tell me if this is normal behavior?

2006 xB.

Thanks in advance.

I just checked ours, and it seems to do it too. It closes easy and smooth until it's about 1/4" from closed. Then there is a little resistance until you push it shut. Sounds normal.

That is funny. I had some after market stereo crap done to my xb and after it was all done I noticed the same thing. I just figured that it was something they did when putting everthing back together. Glad to hear that it is a normal thing.
