I am waiting for my xb and they told me it would take 7 to 10 days. Right now they are saying December 2nd. I can hardly wait!!!~ I am just wondering if you had to wait and how long? and if it was there when they said it was going to be? As if I have to wait longer than Dec 2nd I am gonna be mad!LOL~

i jus hope you didnt pick the dealer i chose althought i am from san anontio, tx they kept BSing well it seemed that way to me. my dad had called and whatever in Oct at the beginning i believe it was the 3 and they said they could get the car fast and whatever so we overnighter the check after i told them what i wanted. well after a few days we called to see what was up to keep in contact and they said they hadnt recieved the check 7 days after we sent it they finally found it. then they said it would take 2 to 3 days to get the car to the dealer and then 8 to 10 working days for the car to make it to San Antonio so they said it would be here by a certain date which i dont remember but when that day came around... no scion :( so we called again then they came up with it was going to take 8 dayd for the scion to come in to the dealer :evil: arghh so now its Nov 8th i believe and finally my scion arrives 8) and im smiling from ear to ear :D but then i still cant drive it cause i need the title to get the plates out and the dealer didnt even apply for it til after we called them and asked for it when they could have did it the same day they ordered the car but yeah it was a month of hell and anticipation which paid off in the end because when i drive i still have that smile on my face i hope you dont have to go thru what i did

Ordered mine from Dublin Toyota, took 13 days.. they said 7-14 so it worked out. GOOD LUCK with yours

I had to wait a week for mine...lol...it was the toughest week of my life...the waiting is definately the hardest part...congrats on your purchase

i guess i was pretty lucky... one week after my civic died, i had my new baby! the day my civic gave out, i went to longo and only then realized how affordable the scion was.. i was ready to bring it home that very day but they didnt have a black one. they said the only way i'd be able to get one was to order it and even then, the next shipment wasnt due for about 4-5 wks. i decided just to check back later. 7 days after, i called in and they had 2 black xbs so i rolled in and picked it up. and we lived happily ever after :D

I belive it went like this...Aug 2 met my friend cause he bought one..put down my deposit on one..Aug 9th went in and found my Love...so really not that long

well i couldve had an xb the day i went to the dealer but i am picky.

i waited close to 2 months for my xb (black manual).

i couldve done without the wait, but im happy with my xb :D

2 days, but i have had mine since june.

i had to wait about an hour or so while the finance guy wrote the contract! they had 10 xB's on the lot and the second one i drove i bought!

i got there at 10a.m. and left at noon in my Polar xB!

and glad i did, am i! 8)

Thanks everyone........My dealer said 7 to 10 working days and said no later than December 3rd.~~ So I am hoping they keep there word. If they do not I am headed to the city to find a dealer that has my car!LOL~ I did not put a deposit down or sign anything so I can just look elsewhere if they make me wait past the time they said it would be there. Same here. I did have to go through a few dealers to find one who wouldn't play games, though.

It seems as though xBs are in somewhat shorter supply these days. Our local dealer is only displaying a "showroom queen", silver with a flame paint job. :shock:

The TCM 5 speed was in high demand when I finally got around to getting it. I called Satish at Dublin Toyota and he told me up to a 3 week wait, so I said OK. He called me 3 days later to come pick up my car. I went the next day, check in hand, filled out the paperwork, and off I went.

Didnt have to wait.. Walked into Longo Scion and they had what I wanted. Down to the exact options! I walked in with my old car, walked out with a Scion.

They by far have to most inventory.

Thats right, Denny drove in and drove out just like that. Let m eknow if I can help you....I have the largest scion selection in the country.

Bought my Scion in Vacaville, N Cal...I ordered on October 22nd. They said ten days. then the fires happened in So Cal. They said 7 more days. Than the truck was delayed. Than they never ordered my short shifter. They said another week. I picked the car up incomplete (without shifter) rear ground effects on crooked. Steering wheel crooked dand intake wiring not screwed down. Oh yeah and my air filter was on correctly. They still havent got the shifter in. But Im driving the car and really like it. Dont think Ill buy anything there again.....

:roll: Okay got a call from the dealer today. My Box has not shown up yet.......grrrrrrrrrr......... They said when we ordered it no longer than 10 working days. They have about 2 left. They told me last week no later than Dec 3rd, thats tomorow. I am getting a little mad. This is what they said and tell me if it sounds real or not.......
They said they can't track it today as the guy that can do that was not in??? They said they would know where it was for sure tomorow. Notice they did not say IT WILL be in tomorow. They can just tell me where it is???????? grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!~ Okay starting to look about for BLUE xb with not alot of extras. I am going to San Fran this weekend and I will be damned if I am not driving an XB by the end of the weekend!!!LOL~ YES I have little patience!! maybe none!!LOL~

We went to Claremont Toyota 7/14/03 looking and picked out a black xB with floor mats and nothing else. However, those jerks would only give us $1200 UNDER wholesale bluebook for our trade-in.
Next day went to Puente Hills Toyota @ 2:00, they didn't have a black one just blue with floor mats only. They were very accommodating and actually got me what I wanted for our trade-in. Was drivin' by new baby home by 6:00.
I highly recommend Puente Hills Scion!!
Another tip....... go to http://search.bbb.org/search.html and check out who your about to do business with. Can save some grief down the road.

I got my xb today too! Definatly worth the wait. I got a black cherry pearl automatic. I had the red lights put in it and the changing cup holder lights. I also added wheels and a billet grill. I ordered mine on the 22nd of November. Got it from north county scion in anaheim. Tom is a great guy.

WOOHOO! I can finally sleep. Gave a deposit (non-refundable) today at CarMax Laurel, Maryland. Went to this other place (not to be named), the Scion guy wasnt there, but i wanted my ride appraise. And geez, they really didn't want my business. The Scion guy is cool and very knowledgeable (he's on here at ScionLife too). But the Regular Toyota guys are a pain. Tried the whole Bait and Switch deal. Didn't even want to appraise my car. Referred me to kbb.com but I wanted the appraise value for today, today (for my info use only)! ARGH! Like I said, the Scion guy i talked too is cool, but it seems like the rest of the dealership and it's main corp name did not like Scion.

Now, the LONGGG WAIT. Although I can finally get some sleep. But the wait, but it's worth it. Spring Break 2004 HERE I COME WITH A BANG, I mean a box!!!!!! :roll:

Hey fr130, It's Sam. I absolutely don't mind that you bought elsewhere. I'm utterly embarrassed by how you were treated and I did found out who you spoke with and had a brief meeting with the Scion manager to prohibit the non-Scion staff from even speaking to Scion customers(Most of these old school sales dicks doesn't know better). Once again my deepest apologies for not being present when you came in and the poor treatment you recieved. Good luck with your XB man! :lol:

No problem Sam. Like what Sam said, don't talk to the Toyota guys for Scion related stuff, even having your car appraise. He's pretty informative about things and was able to let me drive on country roads and on faster tarmac. The whole informative/ Scion experiance and the test drive sold me get an xB.

Enjoy the tC when it comes around. TRD S/C for Camry/tC engine give me torque LOL.
