Default I'm Sick of my tC

After having my tC for 9 months exactly today, ive come to the realization that im sick of it...completely. Since I bought it (auto), ive learned stick shift and have test drove a few cars (specifically the WRX wow). The tC now just doesn't do it for me anymore and I'm not about to drop more money into mods if I can't stand the car...grrr I wish I would have waited on buying a car..oh well....sorry just venting here any ideas

You really can't compare our cars to the WRX....I think anyone would rather have WRX/Evo over ours...but you are talking almost double the price...

WRX

See i thought the same too until i boosted my ride. I was still debating if i would get another car but to be honest unless you have MADD!!! Money then the tC is the way to go, i mean honestly if we all had almost 30k to spend on a car i dont think we would get a tC.

I was looking into getting a 350z and boosting it but with the 350z and the WRX mods are a lot more money.

I cant put half the money you would put into a WRX and be faster than a WRX. Right now i put in about 4k into my car and i cant take out STI's or EVO's from a stop but from a roll SH!AT its over. "This is compared to a stock STI and EVO and even slighty modded EVO's ill take.

Unless you got dollas.....then i suggest stay with the tC. Maybe just trade yours in for a 5spd......you will love it a lot more than auto!

This is what makes me glad that I was raised in a family of manual transmission drivers. Learned in an F250 stickshift, had the Corolla stickshift, now I have the tC stickshift. Plus when you give a friend a ride and he's never ridden in a manual transmission car, you get that "wow" factor.

Don't forget many of the ladies also have a definite "wow" factor when they find out you drive a stick... and that is "wow" in a good way :D

I really think it definitely adds points to any guy's "guy-ness score"

Same here, my dad forced himself to learn during the last oil crissis. IMO, even a low power stick car can be fun even compared to a high power auto.

thats funny.....I would keep the tC but look into trading it in for a manual. Sticks are more fun thats for sure

i'll take the tC's gas mileage and the fact that i don't have to always use premium
that should be one reason to keep your tC

I might get shot for saying this, but cars aren't everything. tC is a great car for it's price and with money, theirs always going to be a better car. If you must make your car more exciting, it's your dough. I think it might be hard to compare a manual WRX, to a auto tC. tC in manual is fun.

Automatic = Boring

That's probably the main reason you're sick of the car..

...Maybe you just can't appreciate something because your unable to.

You shouldnt jump to conclusions...just because your unable to appreciate something doesnt mean its bad. Maybe its because you need to open your eyes a little wider.
