Default DC Sports Axle back Exhaust PROBLEM

The tip on my exhaust has fallen off of my box after owning it for 6 months or so. Your first assumption would be that I thrash my box which I assure you I don't. I have scraped the exhaust only twice, once when I first installed it and didn't realize it hung down that low and the second time I was drunk and had the car loaded full of people and it scraped leaving a driveway. Other than that it hasn't experienced any abuse.
I came out to my box one morning and I noticed my beautiful tip was missing, i started it up and it was much louder than normal. I drove to work and on the freeway it gets very loud, when you are cruising around 80 it gets to the point where it makes your head hurt.

I am going to contact DC Sports and see what they will do for me, I mentioned it to my local parts dealer (DarkSide Mororing) and they said to contact DC Sports directly and they would most likely swap it out for me becuase he claims they have good customer service.

I'll update this when I have new information to share...

All of us RS2 owners have the DC exhaust and there have been many reports of problems. See this post:

Good luck--and let us know what they say. As this was standard on our cars--Toyota has been covering under warranty.

It cant be from scraping. I've had that exhaust for awhile now, the only part that I've scraped is the actual canister because of the low tilt angle. My canister is actually dented to hell but my tip is still clean and round. I scrape and bang that thing all over the place its still good :D

I have finally gotten this taken care of. I spoke with Giermo in Tech Support at AEMPOWER /DC SPORTS and he had me take pictures of the exhaust and also send him the receipt. I didn't want to scan the receipt and email it so I spoke with Eric at www.darksidemotoring.com and he said to have Geirmo call him and he would verify that I purchased it from them.
Geirmo called me back to let me know they will be shipping out a new exhaust system and they will include a paid RMA so I can send my broken one back to them, all of this at no charge to me... YIPPEE!!!

I'll let you know when I have the new one installed and this problem is behind me...

The new exhaust has been installed and so far so good...

It looks as if though it was just a bad weld on the tip...

I would have to say that this overall experience has been a positive one, I would do business with them again :-)

They kinda lagged when I first hit them up about this problem so I mentioned that I post on the forums at scionlife.com to light the fire under their asses, once that was said all went smooth from then on.
