im getting the hotckis lowering springs for my SW tc on 18X7.5 wheels with 225 tires, i just wanna see how everyone elses Tc looks with their hotchkis springs and how they like them

Hey dude, watch out with these springs, i'm riding on the stock 17 inch wheels and i scrape on some drive ways and i drive really carefully, just a heads up ..with that lip ur car is going to be very very low.i can guarantee with that lip on, u'll scratch it alot... but the springs and the drop it awesome..=) any who, goodluck..have fun.

 

you just have to be carefull with the way you drive, you cant be taking driveways heads up.

me either, and im perfect! when i do scrape its cause i wasnt paying attention or i tried to take a dip that was too steep. I know all the dips around here now, so i know when to go slow, which i do anyways? The lip will add about .75-1." drop? Not much, ill be good!

 

I have my Advan RGII (Gold) in 18x8.. +37offset. do any of you know if there will be any issues with this drop. I am thinking of going with the Combo at TRD Sparks, of the Hotchkis Drop with the Sways for around 400... Any better deals out there i should know about..... I think the drop is great. I want the H&R Coils but they are a little out of my range for right now. I have had my rims and i am waiting on my Kics Racing R40 Lugs and Locks from Japan to come in from AutoRND.. .... I will take my setup to gets some new shoes as well, so no problems there (Toyo Proxies 4, 225/40/18...), just have to wait on these items and i am dont for a while.. (school)..

okay so upgrading rims...im getting 18x7.5.....dropping on hotchkis....should i get a 35 or 45 offset? 35 would obviously look better but i need opinions on what people think about if it would rub or not. i dont want to rub.

 

I have to pull into my garage slowly at a little bit of an angle, or I scrape a little, but not my bumper. It's that black plastic shroud under the front bumber that get's scrapped a little. No worries.
