Default Angel Eye Projector Install DIY/PICS W/ HID

Hey guys. I got projectors from MOD City. I assume this setup can work with just about any projectors. You need to tap the white/black striped wire and the brown wire for the angel eyes power/switch source.

The projectors are good. Fitment is pretty well considering its aftermarket, had to use a lil bit of elbow grease, but it looks good. The projector has a great cut off line. I have to level mine (which i may do lol). When puting in the HID's bulbs becareful to put them in the correct way otherwise you end up scratching the bulb by having it rub against the housing entrance.

If you do want to go HID's get h1 kit.

Whiteblack : goes to Black

Brown: goes to White

cost : hid's from Jlevi 275

Projector/light housings 320

TOOLS: 20 Blue 2 Wiretapping connectors ( more just incase you mess up )

Wire Stripper
10mm Socket Wrench
1 Other person to help if you want to remove whole bumper. (makes life a lot easier )
Cup to put all ur screws in
Scisccors (spelling). Something that cuts lol.

Disconnect Battery, Remove all connections from headlights, Unscrew top bolts on Headlights, then partially remove the bumper cover so you can get to the last screw of the headlight, once that is removed you will have to take a screw driver and pry the bottom tab out to remove the headlight. This applies for both sides, you can also look up via toyotas technical service manual on how to remove headlights.

If you are installing HID's then do the following, Take the lights that you got and cut the wires out so only thing you have left is a rubber grommet, (the black rubber cover that goes over the light). You will have 2 real holes ( that the wire originally went thru ) you need to expand them so I reccoment taking a knife and making a few cm incision after cutting off the little nipple that the grommet has. This is basically a cut to get the wide HID, harness head inside the grommet to not have an open hole.

THIS IS THE WIRE YOU NEED TO TAP

It has a black and white stripe as the negative side, and a brown as positive. Strip it, DO NOT CUT IT OFF, just incase you want to go back to stock.

Ok so now your thinking, what am I going to do with all these black and white wires?

Its pretty simple, eat set is for a bulb. Black : Negative, White : Positive

So therefore when making your connections all black wires go to : the black/white stripped wire,

all white wires go to : the brown wire.

Before you do this though, you must consolidate all your wires so that you only have 1 white wire, and 1 black wire to connect to the wire coming from the car.

to do this you will need those blue clips, they basically connect two wires into 1.

you need to do this to all the whites, and all the black wires.

you will start off with 4, then it will go down to 2 sets of 2, then go then to 2 single wires.

Here is the end result after making all your connections/tapping, leave end stripped too to make connections to wire coming from the car

then connect them to those two wires you stripped b4 via same method.

thats all you need to do when it comes to the extra wiring for halos and etc.

HID,s are just plug and play because you literally plug them in and they work.

I reccomend testing everything out by putting ur battery back in and turning them on.

Remember if you have JLEVI HID's you will need to reverse Polarity (install red connector bakwards)

once you checked everything, electircal tape all connectors and close everything back up ( reverse install process for bumper lights, )

is there a way to balance the cut offs? These actually look pretty good, but one thing that does bother me is the eyebrow dont fully light up... It might be a good idea to fully wrap LED's through the eyebrow or something. But atleast this way they match the third tail light i guess.

Ya, wtf am I looking at? I'm not a mechanic so please explain. I see a supercharger and what is in the bottom right? Looks like a turbo but it can't be from the stock headers and intake.
