Goodluck with the sell. What made you decide on $18,999? Are you getting any hits?

I have the same face too =( . From a tC to a Si, at least you can make the engine sing up to 8,000RPMs and not destroy anything.

i dont know...i was really bored with my tc. i wanted somthing a little more powerful and fun to drive and i wanted to go back to a manual trans instead of the auto i chose to get for my tc. plus i really like the interior styling of the civic 10x more than my tc (which imo looks so cheap). i was debating between a SI and a VW GTI, but i decided of the Si cuz i dont trust VW. although i really love my tc and have nothing against it, i think im gonna have a lot more fun with my Si especially with the vtec and the 8000 redline :D :D :D

thats the price they are going for used in my area. some dealers are selling used ones for +21k and thats stock. i figured mines got the navi/dvd and few other things...i shouldnt have a problem with the price. kbb has it for like $19,700 private party sale.

no hits yet, its only been up for a few hours.

good call bro. I did the same, but im going to an s2000. tC's are over-hyped and the people who drive them think they're fast. Also in So-Cal there's one on every corner.

Don;t see too many Si's out here, hope it all works out.

Also, G'Luck selling it for 18,999. I sold my 2006 tC Auto with 11k Miles for 15.2K. I know u got a Navi system, but still . . .

I've realized tC's are the stepping block for much better cars. I see so many ppl sell them off for much more powerful and better handling cars. Good luck with the sale, mine might be going up on the auction block soon as well.

i dont mean to spoil all of your excitement over the V-TEC but the v-tec really isnt that great... you know almost eveery car company has the own "v-tec" the scions have it to. its toyota own style of it... t-tec does not hit or crack or what ever you honda guys say. it is allways on. its just when you get to a certain rpm the lobe in your cam lifts to provide more flow in your head or something like that .. i have driven many of honda's and i think v-tec is WAY over rated.

Everything i have read says the SI isn't as great as people have hyped it up to be. I recall the Car and Driver article i read on it, comapared it to the GTI and they favored the VW on almost every account except for looks and price.

But best of luck to you with your new car! Hopefully you wont regret your descision.

I plan to save my tC for my gas saver. Next on the block is a Titan or a 350Z.

So why are you so sad to sell the car if you think it's cheap on hte inside. If I felt like I was moving up, I sell mine gladly.

i had my Tc on autotrader for two weeks at 18900, not a single call....here is the problem with KBB, the book value is correct however for about 50.00 less you can go buy a new one.
I think its funny how KBB.com values the used 06" higher then a new one........

oh well good luck, i had more calls from craigslist but ended up selling it to a CHP officer who lives down the street.

I have the phone number of a girl in tracy california that is desperate to get one of these and says she has cash....

I was just not in the mood for driving 3 hours for a maybe......

VTEC may be overrated next to cars with big motors but with same displacement it's tough to beat. Yeah, the VVT-i on tC/xA/xB is always "on"...... so what? It still doesnt provide enough valve lift nor does it switch cam profilesto make good power at upper RPMs. You cant compare the VVT-i on Scions with DOHC VTEC of Honda. They just dont work the same. SOme ppl tend to enjoy getting the motor up in the upper RPMs just like some ppl like the sensation when boost peak boost is reached. This isnt a debate over which company has the best variable valve tech so.... I'll end here.
Good choice on the Si..... like certain hardcore Honda nuts with a good motor, you'll probably end up wanting more!

I know what you're saying. I'm not all that impressed with the SI, but in comparison with the tC, I'd get the SI. If I was spending 23k, I'd get a Slightly used Evo VIII, cuz SI isn;t worth the money, but I know that its more fun to drive than the tC.

i have to say the SI is nice car for what it is, i honestly think the fit and finnish on the Si is much nicer and of better quality, as for it being over hyped toyota does a really good job marketing it........

i would think with the right upgrade a tC would be just as f2d. can't see paying $19-20k for that car,
