ive been reading up latley but cant seem to find a definate answer about this... is the megan s pipe 2.5" or 2.25"? some people say its 2.5... some 2.25. just looking for a definate answer before i puchace one.
also, same question about the invidia s pipe.. is it 2.5 inch or 2.25? thanks!

not that i dont trust you, but can anyboy else confirm this because im ordering one tonight! i think i need one.. my new catback is leaking because it doesnt match up very well with the stock s pipe

 

I just got my invidia yesterday, haven't installed it yet, I just put a tape on it and the inlet is 2-3/8" and is almost 2-7/16" which is basically 2.5"

 

has anyone actually measured the megan?

 

i think someone measured it to be 2.5...not entirely sure

 

so then wouldn't a larger diameter = better airflow?
why do people swear by the invidia and against the megan?

 

maybe fitment issues with the megan. my Invidia fits perfectly.

 

you want all your exhaust to be the same size so you don't have a bottleneck, so youd want a 2.25 if all youre exhaust components are stock size, youd just have less bends = better flow blah blah

 

Go with the Invidia(sp) due to the fact that I had a Megan Racing S-pipe the fitment was BAD! Invidia is flawless from all accounts.

 

what midpipe was your megan s-pipe being connected to?

 

before I went turbo, i had a full megan setup, headers back...the megan s-pipe fit the header fine but i had to do some serious cutting and such for the s-pipe to fit the megan mid section...just my input...im zpi now so im all good

i just got my invidia. i will install it in a few days

 

Just got my Invidia installed today! Perfect fit just like everybody says. Stock bolts are a pain in the a$$ to get off though. Lift was definitely the way to go!

 

what is stock diameter?
