i just recently dropped my car. but have noticed and was told by others that my front sits a bit higher then the back. would it make a difference if i havent cut the bumpstop in half. or was that something i should have done

depends on your springs, a lot make the rear have a smaller wheel gap than the front. i have s-techs and there is a big difference between front and rear.

most likely its to put some of the weight towards the rear for better balance.

well did you have to cut the bumpstop on your front. i also have the s-techs. i didnt notice that the instructions say that the bumpstop has to be cut in half until i had finished the complete drop all around

you do have to cut the bumpstop in half for the strut to travel a longer distance due to shorter springs, but that shouldnt really affect the height. are you sure you placed the spring on correctly? there is a certain way the spring has to sit on the perch of the strut. might want to check that out.

yes, i did cut the bumpstop, but like iripthekut said, its to allow more strut travel before hitting the stop due to the shorter springs and should have no effect on ride height.

i did my s techs myself...and it looks to me all even... I think you do need to check where you put the springs on the strut.

ill check when i get some time to. but does your ride sit lower in the front since s-techs are a 2.4 drop and the rear is 2 even

the front will be lower, but the front wheel gap will be more than the rear wheel gap. in fact, the rear should be somewhat "tucking" with s-techs.

i like your crub rash on your rear wheel there. looks exactly like mine with the missing piece off the tire wall :silly:.

anyways, that doesnt look too bad from that pic. also, judging from that pic it could be that you may just have a full tank of gas causing it to sink on rear driver's side. if that's the case then that's normal cuz it happens to mine even with stock springs. if not then i probably don't know what i'm talking about. :P

sucks cause both of my rims on the driver side are like that. i was on my way to the airport when i was making a turn on a double sided turn when the car next to me came to close and my car jumped the curb. my front rim looks pretty bad

^^ LOL I have the exact same thing one my rim/tire, same size too, a missing chunk..

BTW, measure the gap to see for sure... my Eibach Prokit sits a tad lower in the front vs. the rear.

It lowered it to less than a two finger gap between tire and wheelwell all around.
