This morning me and my 8 year old Cherokee were involved in an eight car pile up on the way to work. (I got a lot to say about women drivers, grrrr.) Well, the Kee's trade in was under $1000 before the smash up. The grill was bent under, front bumper flattened, and the left fender crinkled and bent. I figure it was a total even though it was running fine.

Drove the to local Scion dealer and they offered me just enough to say YES! I figure State Farm would total it out and I would be renting a car and such for a week or so to get everything straight. Well, I did it all in a day!

Got a stock Camo 5-speed. Added cruise and that's it! I have really been pleased with the handling so that I may not have to get sway bars afterall. A few of my friends have been AWED by the amount of backseat comfort and the overall quality.

It had 20 miles on it when I took the keys. Too bad, I didn't get to do the MotoMan breakin. :)

Congratulations! I don't think our cars need to be "broken in" like Motoman says. Our engines are laser cut. Just get an oil change early (after first 1000 miles?) to clean out any metal shavings.

Well at least you weren't hurt and a happy ending came out of it. Congrats.
