First let me say that each of these coilovers have different damping and are specifically tuned to the springs they are using. However, as a general rule, a lower spring rate means a softer ride. Also, the numbers published by the manufacturer may not be true in the real world, such as Tein's published numbers for their rear coilover drop. As such, the numbers below are meant as a guideline and maybe be slightly different when installed.

Second, some of these numbers are from here, some are from the manufacturer's website, and some I got from calling the manufacturer. Hopefully others will find this as useful as I did.

John you have it wrong... on the Tein basic and Tein Super Street its 3Kg in the front and 3.2 Kg in the back...

I was wondering about that, but it's not my fault!!! Their website has the basic listed one way and the SS listed the other. I couldn't figure out which way was right, so I guessed. :oops:
