By chance...has anyone taken any measurements of the bushings in the rear suspension????

I doubt anyone has

I figure since they dont make "direct" applications for the xB atleast right now

The companies that make polyurethane bushins might make like univerasal sizes that might work for the rear

Bad idea. The rear bushings have a toe-correction feature and are designed to move for a reason. Poly bushings would disable this feature. ~~~~~~~~~~~scott

What do you base that "toe in correction" on? I have spent considerable time under my xA looking at the rear suspension. The bushings appear to just locate the rear torsion beam, there appears to be nothing "special" about them other than they are not simple doughnuts so "generic" bushings will not work. If you know something different please explain it in detail so I can understand.

I think these cars need urethane bushings back there. When cornering near the limit of traction in my xA I experience a wierd "rear steer" effect that I think is caused by the torsion beam bushings flexing. Not a fun feeling at all.

Then get the hotchkis swaybars and www.onetongarage.com spacers in the rear. That'll take care of that loose rear ___ of yours.

E-mail me at Shartford17@AOL.com and I will send you a pdf. file of the suspension features for this car.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`scott
