Default It looks like everybody is selling their lava

I sold mine 4 months ago for $18000 with 600 miles on it on ebay; it has no additional option except floor matt.
Don't ask me about how did I make that much.
It was pure luck that soooo many people want my car.

I'm happy that I sold mine cause the lava is not so special anymore.
I mean everybody has Lava.

I plan on keeping my Lava for a long time! My kids are excited because they think that someday it will be their car. As far as "everyone" having a Lava - I haven't even seen another one in my area, so it may be that those markets that got Scions early also got a larger proportion of the Lava.

Only seen 2 other Scions here period. Both xB's. I believe I have the only one for a 100mi radius (lava that is). We still like the car, even if it #2106A.

I'm 6 ft tall, but I don't have problem with the car even with the trunk space.
:D
I got IS300, WRX, Celica 00, Scion xB, 93 and MR-s turbo, but I love S2000 the most.
Second, I love my WRX, and then I love my IS300 (its fuel efficient is worse than S2000 and WRX, but it is a great comfy family car)

I remember I saw several people sell their xB on ebay and on this forum.
If I'm not wrong, I think I see more than 10 people selling their lava.
They might not be here or checking this forum anymore.
I know some of em sold their xB for tC.

Chobits let's see some pics of your fleet. That sounds like one hell of a collection.

Default Lava

I bet that a bunch of people bought them hoping to make money offof them on ebay. Who cares if there are other ones around. I guess they can guarentee that there won't be more than 2100. I am in washington and there is a couple others, but alot more silver and white.

I have to agree about their being a bunch, we have around 5-6 in Stylewagons alone, not to mention all the rest in DFDub...

I still like mine though, I agree as long as there is only 2100 i'm cool.

to me, its just another color. Scion hyped up the limited edition aspect and the lava's sold fast. Some people might have bought into the hype, then realized they didnt want the car. others might have wanted to make a profit. It might seem like everyone has one, but if you think about it there are only 2100 lavas released in 24 states. assuming that all the lava's have been sold....thats roughly 87 lavas per state ( i know allocation is different for each state, besides the point.) I live in Va, and park next to a lava everyday, but since MD also got Lava's...there are theoretically 175 orange boxes in the area.

Why on earth would you sell a car after only 600 miles?

probably because he owned it for 4 months and only put 600 miles on it. I have had mine for a month and a half and just hit 6k. Plus with the arsenal of cars he has, why keep what you dont drive?

I live in Alexandria but drive around Falls Church all the time in my Hot Lava. Which one of you guys has the Lavabox with the displays?
