Default Thinking of trading in the tC for a xB.

Hey guys. Some of you might remember past threads by me. But lets get down to business.

I have an '06 tC. I'm not all too happy with it. So I started to look at Mustang GT's.. SRT-4's... and then stopped. Why trade in a decent car for a used car that will suck all my money in gas and power mods. That will just leave me no money to go anywhere, and with all that HP I'll only have 50 feet until the next STOP sign. lol.

I always wanted an xB. Ever since I first saw them. I think it's time. I heard 07's aren't compatible with a lot of aftermarket parts... Is that true?

I want it in Polar White with a lot of factory options. Other than that I'm going to get black rims, halo projectors, new front grill, and these tail lights.... [which I'll change the colors of to be nicer]

I stood next to a PW xB today and creamed my pants. I'll miss the HP of my tC, but I'll have more fun in the box and will finally GET A MANUAL!

You guys think I'm making a good choice?

Those tail lights look horrid IMHO....

I'm thinking of getting a tc or xb also, why don't you like the tc?

They look horrible like that, yes. I'm going to paint it white, then change the colors of the led's.

Buying a tC and driving it off the lot feels great. But after driving it for a few months.. you get sick of it. For the little HP it gets, it wastes a lot of gas. They aren't as good looking as I originally thought.

Those aren't LED tails - I don't recall the thread, but a company rep said they weren't. On the other hand, I think they're quite stylee, LEDs or no. You can always run LEDs instead of incandescents anyway.

Oh yeah - I meant to say that too. Twice the class and half the horsepower. It's a fair trade.

Theres a few people on here that have done it. I can say from experence that I don't regret it. I hear what your saying. I liked the tC, but after awhile it loses it luster. I haven't had one thought about getting rid of box.
