Default Luminics bulbs suck

I had low beam headlight bulbs for 4 months before one burned out. Now they wont respond to my emails asking questions about a warranty. Just wanted to let everyone know. If this could be put on the xA and xB forums too that would be great.

I have the pure blue and i love them. I thought one of mine burnt out too but it melted the wiring harness. It wasnt the bulb. Had to upgrade the harnesses which i should have done in the first place. they sell the plug n play upgrade harness on their website.

never even heard of that. Does that cool the contact between the harness and bulb?

well... contrary to popular belief (that i know of)..

the reason why wiring harnesses melt isn't because of the bulb's wattage but because of poor connections...

arcing and sparking.. creates resistance and heat.. until.. hmm... meltdown.

the conductive grease helps with the electrical connection.

yeah.. i'm saying "upgraded harnesses" are not necessary

(unless.. i guess.. the wattage is insanely high)

luminics.com? that site doesn't give you anything...

it's either
http://www.luminicsbulbs.com/
or
http://www.luminicsdirect.com/

two operate seperately... you have to be SPECIFIC... i've dealt with luminicsbulbs.com and they're fine!

you guys need to do your research and know what you're buying and who you're buying from before you go off and start complaining.

luminicsbulbs.com are good!

luminicsdirect.com are not good!

i ordered a set of titanium white on xmas eve and bearly got them back in may or june? i filed a dispute with my CC company about it and they refunded me the money. So i got free bulbs and wiare harness!

Ive recently switched to the 9005 silverstar retrofit mod! Works better then luminics!!!

Always make sure to not touch the bulb with your bare hands when you install them.

The oils on our skin burn them out pretty quickly, or can cause them to explode.

I've bought both low and high beams from Luminics.com and had no problems. But my lows did burn out pretty stinkin fast. I thought I just got so bad bulbs so they sent me another set and burned out too in several months. I love those blues lights, but not worth the hassle. Is there another blue bulb out there that's better?

I had the Luminics JDM yellow on my last car. They turned opaque brown-ish and got dim pretty quick, they said they'd replace them for free but I sold the car and have no use for H4's anymore.
Customer service at luminicsbulbs.com was so-so ... seemed to be someones cell phone when I called their 800 number.

what's the bulb wattage?
The specified wattage is never 100% accurate. Not all bulbs are exact. The specified wattage is an average (also the wattage they want to achieve). Some bulbs may be a slight bit higher wattage. So if you are unlucky and have a bulb that draws more wattage, you will increase the likely hood to fry a wire or two.
