Just Hauled 560 lbs in the box
Iam doing a little concret project at home this weekend and picked up half of the concret today.7 80lbs bags.Thats 560 lbs. That is how much my last motorcycle weighed. It hauled it great.I will pick up the rest tommorow.I dont think I would want to put much more than that in the back.
BTW I have the TRD 1" lowering springs

I hauled home 27 cases of drinks last week (re-stocking concession stand - GO CHARGERS!!!). It was fairly evenly distributed (folded down front passenger and rear seats), but the rear end sat down pretty low - I was afraid the tires would rub. I watched the bumps on the way home, but otherwise the box handled like a champ. I was actually really impressed. I'm not sure what the total weight was. I had 27 cases (24 bottles x 20 oz.) of drinks, so a ballpark figure is 800 pounds. Maybe?

The TRD 1" drop springs are 10% stiffer than stock.
I hauled 10 bags of hardwood mulch (3-CuFt each) in my xB along with 3-50 lb bags of landscape rock. Not sure what that equates to in weight!
She handled it beautifully! I just had to allow more stopping time! LOL
My husband and I also managed to fit a vintage full size headboard in along with all of our luggage and other shopping spoils while on a weekend getaway to Philly!! The hatch shut and my seat was all the way back too!
LOVE that xB!!!
