I've had my xB for a couple weeks now and love it. Also, this is my first post here too... so I am a newbie. :D I was just wondering how many people on here originally wanted to get a tC, but walked out of the dealer with an xB? I liked the tC alot... but I don't feel like laying on the floor anymore when I drive! :lol: The xB seemed more practical anyway... plus the price was right!

Congrats!- Yeah, I didnt like the whole laying on the floor thing to drive a tC either. I got tied of seing a bunch of "Im 6'+ and I fit in a tC" threads- well I must be a different 6"-3" than every one eles!! Well I did "fit" in a tC, Just not very well!!

Yes I wanted a tC but then I thought about it and they will blend in too easy and I just love the box so I got a PW xB

I love my little cab van because its something that the japanese have had for years and now we finally get to horn in on its sweet goodness

If we put aside brand names and the associated quality and reputation of each, the tiburon and the TC look very much alike.
There is no way to confuse an XB with any of those.

tC's will be lost in the crowd and their styling will AGE quickly. The xB is a timeless box and will wear well on the street for many, many years.

Believe it or not, IMO, the tC is more of a kid's car than the xB. The xB has real functionality whereas the tC doesn't.

I looked at a tC closely before I bought my xB and didn't care enough to drive one.

Yep it does......much better....

See I was saying the same thing in the tC "Insults?" thread about how there are so many coupes and the tc looks like every other car but the xA and xB doesnt and of course I got flammed because all those die hard tC fans only want to hear good things about their car.

i'd have to agree...

i used to like the tC then realized it looked like every other coupe out there on the road. i wanted something a little different. now i want the xB.

everybody is just mad cause they dont have the fastest scion out... or as the president of scion said "the first true scion"

im not mad. isnt scion suppose to be different from other cars? the xa and xb are different but not the tc. it blends in with the crowd. also im not looking for a fast car. if i wanted a fast car i would be looking at FWD either, i'd be looking at RWD or AWD.
its just my opinion.

I am sorry I find the TC ugly... I was going to buy it and waited for it to come out...but after driving it and seeing it....... I left in a hurry.....it's a want to be car... and ugly to the eye....sorry I have had a XA from the start and also love the XB....but..

Just my personal honest opinion but the tC was a mistake they should have brought out more of the 2box's if not all into the scion line up. I am so sick and bloody tired of sedans , coupes, suvs etc. We need a change!!! I think scion learned their lesson since they are bringing a diahatsu (how ever you spell it).

I am with you...i posted the same thing on a TC board and they went crazy....it look soooooo wrong......I would love to see another XA or Xb type :)

I can make my 6-2 body fit into a tC, but it takes some doing. I prefer vehicles where the fit is a bit looser, like the xB.

Now, if the xB just had the tC's engine...

Do you think we would have shot with a petition?? There are over 5,000 members on this site and many more people who dont know about this site buying scions. How many signatures do you think we would need to get them to realize we are tired of the usual crap they send us?? We also would need news coverage and some estimates on how many people are buying the xA's and xB's to open their eyes.

well the tc is groovy but i like my xB better..
now if the tc wqs RWD then i would have it...and not even think twice..

afteri saw a tC i liked them alot, and wasbn't sure what i was going to get
but now ive decided im goijng with the box.
not for its performance, but how it stands out. ITS A BOX!

Now now - diffrent strokes and all. A lot of people really dig the tC and from the right angle I like it alright. I do feel it blends in pretty well but it probably is the sportiest looking toyota available at the moment (Jee whiz where is the new Supra or a good looking MR2) I just wish we had a hotter motor available in the xA/xBs.

Honestly, I don't think I would recognize a tC if it ran me over. Not saying it's a bad car, just not as unique-looking as the xB.
