Okay i know optimally the new wheel/tire switch (to 17's) and spring install should happen at the same time. Lets say that won't exactly happen for me. In Anybody/everybodies opinion is it better to lower first and roll on 9spoke hupcap bliss untill the wheels are availible. Or is it better to get wheels and run the SUPER GAP untill its slam time? Im in a bit of a dillema and any viewpoint would be apreciated. Plus any comment on if theres any mechanical issues im unaware of with running either setup for lets say, a month would be very appreciated.

lower first, then get rims!! - that's what i'm doing

2 weeks after i got my xB i put the new springs in, you'll enjoy driving your box more and even with the stock wheels it looks a thousand times better lowered.

next when i can afford it i'll put my new wheels on and everything will be all done!

I had to wait a few months before my wheels came in so I just said fuggit and lowered it anyway. I don't think both have to be done at the same time but you'll be surprised how much better your xB will look and feel after its been lowered....even on stock rims and tires.

the best might be to lower it first. doing that will allow you to know what kind of wheels you can fit and it will give you a better idea of what to look for.

considering the fact that lowering your car will cost a fraction of the cost of rims and tires i would drop it if you are hard pressed for money.

yeah i did just pull the hubbies off and i do like how they look. and ive gotten compliments!

when i worked at a lexus dealer once they had a old skool sc300 on all full size spares and the spare design on those cars was very very similar to our wheels underneath but they were painted silver. i always thought the car looked sweet ON THE SPARES!

so im definitely going dark for wheels and im gonna go those goldine springs for 200. which order i dunno

I'd lower the box first. Then decide which wheel you'd like.

Of course what do I know, within the first week, I was tinted, lowered, and wheeled.
