Whitelines rear sway bar? Does anyone make a sway bar in the rear bigger than 13mm (I think thats the size Hotchkiss is ).

Something 20mm or a little bigger would be great. Upgrading to a big one in the rear and keeping the stocker up front helps a lot.

The WHITELINE rear sway bar can be run IN ADDITION to the Hotchkis bars as it has totally different mounting points and is run in an entirely different fashion than the Hotchkis - RUN BOTH if you're look to give your box a stiffy

actually you would creat too much over steer... The Echo has almost the same characteristics as the xb and xa ... The Echo doesnt have a rear sway bar. So it has a tendancy to swing its ___ out ... Creating major over steer, with the whiteline rear sway bar you'll minimize this oversteer...
I was adviced by a Hong Kong Vitz race car driver to keep my stock front sway bar and run a bigger rear to have good oversteer in the car... But If I run the too big of a rear sway bar it would creat too much over steer...

So I suggest just picking up one or the other... In my personal opinion I would go with the WhiteLine over the Hotchkis welding rod they call a sway bar...

I can attest to that, this guy's echo with just the coilovers pulled away from me on a little quick touge run. Our buddy in his IS300 was afraid to keep up, so it's not like we werent going at it pretty hard...

So, I'd assume that we'd want the one for the echo? I put a query into the guy from CT.

can someone fill me in on the purpose of those stut plates?

chucksu

I think you had a typo? You mean Strut plate? If so im not sure what that is. I know what a Strut Bar is. A Strut bar is a thing of metal that connects the to Strut Towers together. What this does is while corning it keeps the towers from flexing as much. This gives you a little better fell for the road. Some say they work others dont. As for the lower tie bars & things like that the tie together suspension points under the car. This helps keep every thing tight & less flex of the body, suspension parts. Makes corning better as a result.

Are you talking about the camber plates?
They do what they say, you can adjust the camber quickly and easily with them without having to get under the car. They also eliminate the rubber portion of the upper strut mount and replace it with a spherical bearing, allowing a better "feel" of the road (and all it's nooks, crannies, cracks, and bumps  )
